Jason Rust didn’t start as a Floridian, nor did he start his career journey as a real estate advisor, but he has adapted to both roles with style. Born in Missouri, Jason made a move to Nashville in 2003. Like so many others, the beaches, the sun, and the many opportunities in Florida called to him, so he moved here in 2020. For years before, 30A was Jason and his family’s place of comfort and fun. A place where they created so many special memories. They longed to call 30A home, wanting a change of pace, to simplify, and to enjoy the beauty of the Emerald Coast. Jason has been on our team for over 4 years, having moved into real estate from mechanical engineering. We and our clients are thrilled he decided to make a career switch and jump on that Florida dream. Jason is an incredibly hard worker, he’s generous, big-hearted, and kind. When he is not hard at work helping people find their dream homes on 30A, Jason enjoys the perks of the 30A lifestyle himself! You can find him on date nights with his beautiful wife Erica, driving around listening to Elvis in his 1969 blue Mustang, aptly named “Ole Blue.” He and Erica also spend their time sharing that previously mentioned generosity with the whole world. The couple is co-founders of The Raining Season, an orphanage in Sierra Leone, which they launched in 2007. They knew they needed to help more kids, and that’s how The Raining Season came to be, along with five more children, all adopted from Sierra Leone. Together, Jason, Erica, and their family now serve The Raining Season, travel, and raise awareness. Jason, a skilled and experienced real estate advisor, has helped countless clients find their 30A dream homes. He and “Ole Blue” know all the best places to have fun, relax, and make the most of the Emerald Coast.
